I first heard an Opressed Logic song at a local Band Hall. One of my friends band's where taking a break and someone stuck on a mixed-shit tap... Then I heard this song that sounded pretty cool. But nope, no one had a fucking cool who these fuckers were. Shitty for me. Then one holy fuckin' punk ass day this guy friend of mine asked me if I wanted a ride home so of course since I live in the cold ass climate of Canada I accepted. Guess what was playing. That BAND! And the lucky Son of a Bitch knew who it was... So since that cold icy Canadian Style Winter day. I've had a thing for the sound of the Oppressed Logic! Oppressed Logic started in Jan. 1994, & has survived four 7"s, one full-length CD/LP, a two week West coast Tour in 95, two successful six week national tours in 97 & 98, a 2 week Southwest Texas tour in April 2000 and a 3 week Westcoast tour to Canada in Sept. 2000! And an AMAZINGLY Huge European Tour 2001! Fuck, do they get around or what? Their second full-length release "Its Harassment" put out on Industrial Strength Records has got to be some of the Best Oppressed Logic Shit I've ever heard. The sound is There. This is one of those C.D's I love recommending to people. MIKE "Cyco Logic Loco" AVILEZ ( Last Round Up, Rejected Mother Fuckers and the Angry Samoans) the vocalist master does an amazing job on keepin' it all punk as fuck. I would bring this baby home to daddy... But wait? What is that? None other then CANADAIN ADRIENNE AVILEZ ( Dagger Debs, The Mean Ones, Shitloads of Fuck-All, and United Blood, and Angry Samoans) the lovely bassist for this band and beautiful wife of "Coco Logic Loco". Aww... Punk Love. Oh so Sweet. Then on Guitar there is the crazy ass mother fucker a.k.a TODD DAMMIT. Here is a punk rock vatern! He's been there, seen it, done it, and has prolly ate it too! Then there's the 2nd guitarist JAMES WYSYNSKI formerly from DIRTY BIRD, TORONTO, CANADA!! I don't know much about this dude yet, but come on he's fuckin' Canadian. So I can guess he prolly drinks like a Fish... Lately they have went though there drummers a little quickly, right now the odl drummer Gabe Skull is filling in for a few shows then Jim from Zero Bull Shit (ZBS) is going to be the new drummer.
